Temporary exhibitions :
- A museum for tomorrow - in mizé pou tanto, pou talèr, pou domin - model of the future museum.
- Le fusil de Mussard, passeur de mémoire (Mussard's rifle, the bearer of memory), an exhibition produced last May as part of "the class, the work" project by students from the Lycée professionnel François de Mahy in Saint-Pierre and their teachers.
- Ground floor of the house, slave hospital, Pointue chapel
Guided tours
- Ground floor of the house : guided tours in Creole, French or English on request.
- Botanical tour to discover the medicinal plants and the most remarkable species on the site: Sundays only, book on site at reception for 11am or 3pm.
- Guided tours of the excavation site of the historic Desbassayns sugar factory, led by Lucie Amami, an Inrap archaeologist: book at the museum reception desk for 10.30am or 2.30pm, Sundays only.
Workshops
- Creation of a travel diary with the association D. Fleurettes, Sunday only.
- Presentation of the instruments of archaeology by the education department, activity room, Sunday only.
Cultural Olympiad
- Exhibition of photographs of combat sports and martial arts.
- Activities open to the public: demonstration of katas, Tai-Chi-Chuan, etc.
