Colouring book Un patrimoine tout en couleur (A highly colourful heritage)
A thousand treasures are waiting to be discovered in the collections of the museums, archives and libraries of Reunion. A thousand images preciously conserved, to be discovered through paintings, lithographs, ceramics etc.
The first colouring book from the connections includes a hundred or so of these treasures: landscapes, fruits, portraits, paintings, domestic animals and weird universes. Colouring is one of children’s favourite activities and our album has been designed to enrich this playful activity, giving it a creative dimension.
This album also represents an invitation to travel through the ‘highly colourful’ heritage of Reunion.

Poetry book: Leconte de Lisle, bestiaire choisi (Leconte de Lisle, selected bestiary)
The year of Leconte de Lisle commemorates the bicentenary of the birth of the poet, born on 22nd October 1818.
His work is celebrated and shared by all generations, all over the island’s territory, but also beyond its shores. While Charles-Marie René Leconte de Lisle was born in Saint-Paul, Reunion, and so wonderfully depicted his island through his unforgettable verses, his work is universal.
His texts are read, memorised and studied throughout the world.
His poetry inspired and still inspires other literary, pictorial and musical works.
By asking two contemporary artists – Renaud Cornu and Lionel Lauret – to illustrate two collections of Leconte de Lisle’s poems: Bestiaire choisi and Paysages choisis, the Departmental Council wished to place its project within the continuation of this movement of appropriation, thus contributing to its vitality.
